The Trainyard Short is built with texture, contrast, and weight. Cut from 300g 100 percent cotton reverse french terry, this knit short delivers structure with a soft interior feel. A full garment wash adds depth, while light breaking at key edges gives it a worn finish.
The silhouette features a 2 inch rib waistband with inner elastic for secure comfort. An exposed Yuxiao drawcord at the center front adds adjustability and detail.
The entire body and ribbing are printed with the Found Abstract repeat, creating a layered surface across the garment. A Trainyard leg print in Bright White is placed on the wearer’s lower left leg panel and cut off at the bottom hem for a raw effect.
Function meets contrast with four pocket construction. Single welt pockets sit at the front. A washed denim patch pocket is placed on the front right leg, positioned 1 inch down from the right hand pocket and 2 inches from the side seam. The back patch pocket features a Velcro closure and a handwritten embroidered canvas applique centered below the closure.
Finished with light breaking at the welt pockets, waistband, patch pockets, and bottom leg openings, this piece is designed to feel lived in from the start.
